Only for light skin tones, Fitzpatrick 1-2, which are completely naturally pale and have not been in active sun for the last 2 months. Cannot have had self-tanning in the last month. The IPL treatment breaks down superficial melanin in sunspots/sun damage and provides a more even and clearer skin tone. Also reduces redness. Show up for treatment completely without makeup, clean skin, to avoid complications. Same precautions as with all laser/IPL treatments regarding sun, illness, and medications. Temporary redness and swelling after treatment.

Here we use IPL to reduce redness in the skin. The same precautions apply as with other laser treatments regarding sun, illness, and medications. Only naturally fair skin is treated. Redness and swelling after treatment are common. Only lighter skin types are treated.

Redness and swelling after treatment are common but temporary. You should avoid exercising for about a week. Complications/risks are similar to other laser treatments, and a health questionnaire must be filled out where you need to go through any illnesses and medications.

By using thermal energy from the laser absorbed in the fungal tissue, the fungus is destroyed without the use of antibiotics. Typically, a minimum of 5 treatments with 1-2 weeks apart are needed, and some may require more treatments depending on the severity of the infection. The fungus dies quickly, but the process of growing a new healthy nail takes time (6-12 months). Before laser treatment, you should have received a diagnosis from your general practitioner, which is done by taking a sample of the fungus! When you come for treatment, your feet must be clean and free of nail polish. It's recommended to file the surface of the nails to be treated so that the laser can work better. Bring clean socks and freshly washed shoes to wear after the treatment.
