Bra Hud AS offers laser treatments with Duetto MT Evo from Quanta System DNA, the laser meets medical standards and is approved by the Norwegian Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority.

The Alexandrite laser is among the most effective lasers used for hair removal and has been FDA approved since 1997. The wavelength of the laser light produced by the Alexandrite laser is 755 nm. This wavelength is most optimal for those with light skin. The laser beam heats the color pigment in the hair and destroys the hair follicle.

The Nd:YAG laser is for those with dark skin and has a wavelength of 1064 nm. The laser beam penetrates the skin and destroys the blood supply to the hair follicles without damaging the skin pigment.

A mix of both wavelengths is suitable for those with medium dark skin.

Permanent hårreduksjon Ansikt

You cannot have treatment on sun-tanned skin! For permanent hair reduction, you should shave the area 1-2 days before treatment. The hair should be 1-2 mm, so adjust shaving based on how quickly your hair grows. Avoid active sunbathing and tanning beds 8 weeks before and after laser treatment, as this minimizes the risk of side effects such as burns and pigment changes. Use sunscreen daily before and after treatment. Avoid self-tanning lotion at least 10 days before laser treatment on the area. Do not wax/pluck hair 4 weeks before treatment, as we want hair follicles that contain hair. Shaving between treatments is fine. Stop using active creams on the areas to be treated 3-5 days before treatment. The same applies to cortisone, steroids, and prednisolone. Do not scrub the skin at least one week before treatment. On the day of treatment, avoid using deodorant, creams, and makeup on the area to be treated. Some medications may make you unsuitable for laser treatment as they can cause photosensitivity! This includes, for example, tetracyclines (doxycycline, lymecycline, oxytetracycline, tetracycline), isotretinoin (Accutane), ciprofloxacin, ofloxacin, sulfamethoxazole, ketoprofen, naproxen, piroxicam, hydrochlorothiazide, furosemide, bumetanide, bendroflumethiazide, amiodarone, doxepin, chlorpromazine. Check the package insert of your medications if you are unsure, or ask your doctor. If you have used Isotretinoin, you must wait 6 months after treatment before having laser treatment. If you have cancer, you cannot have laser treatment. Laser treatment is not recommended for those with uncontrolled diabetes, epilepsy, a tendency to form keloid scars, melasma, vitiligo, wounds, or eczema in the treatment area. If you are unsure whether you can have treatment due to illness or medication use, we recommend seeking advice from your private doctor before treatment. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should not be treated with laser. Treatment with laser can sometimes have side effects. Redness and swelling are common. Temporary or permanent pigment changes in the skin may occur. Burns, allergic reactions with itching, blisters, and rashes. Avoid using products that irritate the skin in the days after treatment until the skin feels normal again. Stay away from swimming pools in the first few days after treatment. Do not shave the area until the skin feels normal again. Use sunscreen! In case of complications after treatment, contact the provider for follow-up care. 20% discount is given when multiple areas are treated simultaneously.

Permanent hårreduksjon bakside lår

You cannot have treatment on sun-tanned skin! For permanent hair reduction, you should shave the area 1-2 days before treatment. The hair should be 1-2 mm, so adjust shaving based on how quickly your hair grows. Avoid active sunbathing and tanning beds 4 weeks before and after laser treatment, as this minimizes the risk of side effects such as burns and changes in pigmentation. Sunscreen is recommended daily before and after treatment. Avoid self-tanning lotion at least 10 days before laser treatment on the area to be treated. With the use of certain medications, laser treatment is not possible as they can cause photosensitivity! This applies to, for example, tetracyclines (doxycycline, lymecycline, oxytetracycline, tetracycline), isotretinoin (accutane), ciprofloxacin, ofloxacin, sulfamethoxazole, ketoprofen, naproxen, piroxicam, hydrochlorothiazide, furosemide, bumetanide, bendroflumethiazide, amiodarone, doxepin, chlorpromazine. Check the package insert of your medications if you are unsure, or ask your doctor. If you have used Isotretinoin, you must wait 6 months after treatment before you can have laser treatment. Laser treatment can in some cases have side effects. Redness and swelling are common.
